Gillies Jones Glass

A leading Delhi-based designer and an acclaimed UK glass maker are joining forces to hold a vibrant night of Indian flavours and colours to celebrate a unique collaboration with the British Council.

Craftswoman Kate Jones of Rosedale's Gillies Jones Glass and textile designer Jigisha Patel will be presenting a visual-culinary feast - Indian Experience - at Helmsley Arts Centre on 26 November, 2006.

Both artists will share their experiences of travelling through the Indian state of Rajasthan as they researched Indian crafts in preparation for the design of a prestigious award to be presented to the winner of India's Creative Future 2007.
