The black and white bowls are a strong graphic statement.
The patterns are created by eroding the inside surface of each piece, by selectively removing the layer of black colour. No glass is truly black however: when held in light it will reveal warm hues of purple and red.
Like all our sand carved bowls, the patterns are drawn from the influence of our immediate surroundings.
The heart pattern is also available in opaque red, rose pink and white glass.
