Rosedales Rivers Even Higher

October 4, 2010

Sunday was exceptional for the amount of rainfall. Chimney bank became a river itself. Rosedale featured on the local evening news due to the flooding caused by the volume of water and blocked land drains. The river stayed contained but all routes to it backed up as the tarmac and other debris washed off the roads filled up the drain covers.

This river at the bottom of Chinmey BankĀ  is usually no more than 8inches deep !
