New Glass Ancient Skill, Contemporary Artform

February 1, 2013

The exhibition opened on 31st Jan and runs to the 31st May. We have made two large pieces specifically for the show based on observations of the fell land landscape. Details of one of the works shown in the White Room at Blackwell in the image below. The exhibition was curated by Beth Hughes Lakeland Arts Trust Curator, Helen Watson LAT Director of Exhibitions and Collections, Reino Leifkes Senior Curator of Glass & Ceramics at the V&A and Victoria Scholes Chair of the Contemporary Glass Society.

Blackwell House is a beautiful place to show work and a beautiful place to visit period. We are delighted to have been selected to show here as part of this beautiful and ambitious exhibition.
