Had a walk on the beach yesterday. The light was amazing, the temperature warm and the paddlers many! The sky was co clear, and so blue, just beautiful.

Farm House Fodder – Rosedale Abbey

November 8, 2011

Maggie Barraclough runs a tea shop updale from her farm house (Farm House Fodder), its open weekends in November 11am – 4pm. If you are visiting the studio to see the Graal  exhibition and fancy a cup of tea, its a good hours walk updale to find hot drinks and good food served in what is almost a Yorkshire version of an Alpine hut with wood burner ! … The views are spectacular and the tea & cake delicious. ( You can of course drive it too)

Cropton Bank

January 27, 2010

Sundays walk, with the kids, was around the bottom and then up Cropton Bank.

Stephen took this pic looking back towards Rosedale.

See the colours of the fallen trees’ branches change as it touches the ground.
